Who’s covered? taxi! can be used to insure various different categories of hire and reward’: Within the London areas taxi! is for Public Hire vehicles, that is vehicles qualified for full taxi use under a hackney carriage licence, issued by the Public Carriage Office, with the right to ply for hire in the street or to operate from a taxi rank.

Outside the London area taxi! covers both Public Hire vehicles as above, licensed by the relevant local authority, and also licensed Private Hire vehicles which are not allowed to ply for hire but are directed to customers by radio.

We can cover; wedding cars, funeral furnisher’s cars, hearses or chauffeur driven limousines in

most areas of the UK.

Premium van is designed for people owning Light vans and Pick-ups with a Gross Vehicle Weight of not more than 3.5 tons. If you’re not sure whether your vehicles qualify, ask Covernote.
